About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our complex needs team at a specialist SEN school.

Job Summary: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, including Autism and ADHD.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of SEN principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
