Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Operator to join our team at ALS Recruiting Solutions. As an Export Operator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of export logistics, from booking to delivery, and developing strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all bookings from start to finish for allocated customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Process export bookings, issue instructions to overseas offices, and manage all aspects of customs clearance.
  • Proactively inform customers on shipment status, exceptions, and provide updates on incident solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of file handling, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers and manage accruals.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in air freight forwarding, with experience in export logistics.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a 'get the job done' attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
