With a commitment to exceptional service and a personalized approach, they are currently looking for an Import & Export Coordinator to enhance their Operations Team. This pivotal role will assist the General Manager in ensuring efficient management of all import and export activities.
You will oversee all facets of the shipping process, including the meticulous handling of documentation pertinent to import and export operations, while ensuring adherence to international laws and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing shipping logistics to guarantee timely deliveries
- Scheduling collections and dispatches to meet customer requirements
- Monitoring shipment progress and delivering outstanding customer service to address any issues, including delays and disputes
- Collaborating with customs officials, warehouse personnel, freight forwarders, and clients
- Organizing and maintaining import and export documentation
- Preparing essential shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and cargo control papers, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations
- Submitting necessary documentation for global shipments
- Staying informed about relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all transactions
- Completing billing processes for all jobs in the designated system
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an Import and Export Coordinator or in a comparable position
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management tools
