Tax Senior Position

As a Tax Senior at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary focus will be on corporate tax compliance, tax planning, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:- Corporate Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of corporate tax returns, including VAT returns and management accounts.
- Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide expert tax advice to clients on tax planning and advisory services, including R&D claims and technical expertise.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Liaison with HMRC: Communicate effectively with HMRC on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, ensuring clients are aware of the latest developments.
- Learning and Development: Develop skills and knowledge in R&D tax, assisting clients with R&D claims and providing expert advice.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key tax issues and recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fully ACCA or ACA or CTA qualification, or almost qualified with ATT studying CTA.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of corporate tax, including VAT returns and management accounts.
- Experience with R&D tax is preferred but not essential.
- Able to commute to Marylebone.
