Tax Senior Position Overview

As a Tax Senior at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary focus will be on corporate tax compliance, tax planning, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of corporate tax returns, including VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide expert tax advice to clients on tax planning and advisory services, including R&D claims and technical expertise.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Liaison with HMRC: Communicate effectively with HMRC on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, ensuring clients receive the best possible tax advice.
  • Learning and Development: Develop skills and knowledge in R&D tax, assisting clients with R&D claims and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key tax insights and recommendations.
Tax Senior Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully ACCA or ACA or CTA qualification, or almost qualified with ATT studying CTA.
  • A minimum of 2 years accountancy practice experience, with a strong understanding of corporate tax.
  • Any experience with R&D is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of basic accounts, including VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Able to commute to Marylebone.
Tax Senior Position Remuneration

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £40-55k, depending on experience. You will also receive:
