The Opportunity

At The Openwork Partnership, we're seeking a skilled Partnership Development Manager to play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of our group strategy. As a trusted representative, you'll cultivate key conversations and relationships with our Partnerships, ensuring we support their growth and holistic performance. This role offers full autonomy and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the external marketplace.

The Benefits:
  • Salary: £52,000 - £79,000
  • Bonus: 20% on target
  • Annual car allowance: £4236
  • Pension scheme: contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

Key Accountabilities:
  • Be a trusted, skilled Openwork representative, proactively building and maintaining strong relationships to the Openwork Relationship Management standards.
  • Provide consultancy and business development expertise to achieve growth according to targets and best practices.
  • Developing relationships with key SMEs whilst leading initiatives to support the growth of our Partners to optimise client and market opportunities.
  • Define, document, and agree, and regularly review business objectives and targets with Principals by diagnosing and addressing issues and opportunities relating to business development.
  • Be a centre of knowledge and accountable driving force for the Openwork proposition, process, systems, and digital platforms.
  • Help to identify risks or warning signs and flag them for intervention.

What will you need to succeed?
  • Previous experience across B2B / intermediary relationships, and thorough understanding of distribution models in the Financial Services marketplace.
  • Experience in understanding and supporting small and medium-size businesses with developing business plans and driving commerciality
  • Good working knowledge of the key areas of, investment, protection/insurance, mortgage, and pension products.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in terms of financial services distribution, issues facing owners of financial adviser businesses, commercial models, and key relevant rules and legislation.
  • Experience in addressing risk management issues through professional and challenging interactions.
  • Previous knowledge and use of CRM/contact systems, and/or experience in the use of other contact management tools.
  • General knowledge of financial advice regulation and able to be fully conversant with the Openwork Suitable Advice Framework
  • Good understanding of how different business practices, operating models, and product propositions can benefit different types of businesses and their customers.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
