About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Director of Financial Operations. As a key member of our financial services organization, you will be responsible for implementing process improvements to streamline financial procedures, leading a high-performing finance team, and providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement process improvements to streamline financial procedures
- Lead a high-performing finance team
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members
- Oversight of certain month-end adjustments or processes
Requirements:
- Track record in a senior operational role from financial services
- Managing large-scale teams
- Background in accounting/finance
- Knowledge of financial systems and how they link together through financial operations
- Leadership of high-performing teams and improving overall output
- Demonstrable ability to quickly analyze problems and devise and deliver appropriate solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
