Operations Manager | £45,000-£48,000 per annum + Quarterly Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join Archie's Operations and be part of an exciting journey.

We are looking for an individual who will be the face of the service, developing strong and professional working relationships with individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the Company Director to set the Operations strategy for the business
  • Ensuring the smooth running of Archie's, delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key partners, both internal and external
  • Ensuring adherence to all legislation, performing due diligence and best practice activities
  • Responsible for ensuring audit levels are met
  • Development of the management team
  • Managing budgets and forecasts
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Monitoring and driving productivity across all sites
  • People management and supervision of diverse teams
  • Completion of required paperwork and administration, including regular reports
  • Traveling around the country, with flexibility to work unsociable hours
  • Opening new stores, requiring occasional overnight stays
  • Delivering daily KPIs
  • Maintaining attention to detail and ensuring high-quality work
  • Maintaining health and safety standards, food safety, and risk assessment
  • Ensuring security of the store
  • Responding to accidents, fires, burglaries, theft, and loss of property
  • Attending meetings and training courses
  • Appraising, controlling, and disciplining management according to company procedures
  • Reviewing financial and operational performance with the Operations Director
  • Performing other reasonable tasks as requested by the Operations Director
  • Regular site visits and controlling new site openings
  • Approving rotas and controlling labour usage
  • Controlling stock according to budgets
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Operations Manager role in a QSR Hospitality business
  • Ability to lead from the front, coach, and develop teams
  • Effective communication at all levels
  • Approachable and customer service-focused
  • Able to work under pressure
  • PC literate
  • Previous people management experience
  • Flexible approach, with ability to work unsociable hours
  • Proven track record of improving financial performances of multi-sites
  • Motivational, passionate about developing and nurturing teams
  • Genuine passion for creating memories and delivering incredible hospitality
  • Personal integrity, with ability to work in an environment demanding excellence
  • Outstanding analytical and strategic skills, improving the business from a financial perspective
