We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our International Property team in London. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative and technical support to our Underwriters, focusing on UK & European accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Input

Enter submissions, rating models, quotes, and bound policies onto our underwriting systems.

2. Account Administration

Assist Underwriters with day-to-day underwriting operations, including maintenance of business activity logs and preparation of policy documentation.

3. General Administration

Perform file preparation, photocopying, scanning, and document management tasks, as well as answer phone calls and respond to emails.

4. Account Query Resolution

Issue invoice statements and assist in resolving outstanding premium receivable issues.

5. Research

Conduct research activities to gather additional underwriting information from external sources.

Requirements and Skills:

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, organizational discipline, and attention to detail. Previous insurance experience is a plus, but not required.
