Your new role as an International Property Binder Underwriter will be a key part of our client's International Delegated Authority Property team, working closely with the Group Head of DA Property.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite new and renewal property binders, exercising sound judgement in all underwriting matters.
- Manage property binders effectively, including performance monitoring, EPI tracking, referrals, bordereaux management, rate movement, claims trends, regular reviews, underwriter visits, and audits.
- Stay up-to-date with US DA markets and complex underwriting risks, including Binder/Delegated Authority risks.
To succeed in this role, you will need advanced knowledge of the International Commercial property business, including liability associated with commercial property business. Experience in International Homeowners and High Value Home business, Lloyd's insurance market, Underwriting Principles, and Legal Principles is also essential.
