Job Title: Senior Underwriter - International Property

As a Senior Underwriter - International Property, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of international property insurance accounts, with a focus on underwriting, risk assessment, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite and manage a portfolio of international property insurance accounts, ensuring that risks are accurately assessed and priced.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop new business opportunities, and to drive growth and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform underwriting decisions and risk management strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters and other team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
  • Proven experience in underwriting and risk management, preferably in the property insurance sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
