New Pathways: A Leading Organisation in Sexual Violence Support

We are a charity with 30 years of experience providing specialist therapeutic support to adults and children affected by rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse. Our organisation is widely regarded as a leading expert in the field, supporting nearly 4,000 people each year.

The Community Engagement ISVA role involves supporting survivors from diverse communities and minoritized groups. The post aims to identify barriers to accessing the ISVA service and find innovative solutions to overcome them.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Face-to-Face and Telephone Support
  2. Carry Out Ongoing Risk and Needs Assessments
  3. Support Clients Through the Criminal Justice System
  4. Advocate for Special Measures
  5. Identify and Address Safeguarding Issues

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of SARC services, experience of client support work, and strong communication skills. They should also be familiar with conducting needs assessments and risk assessments, as well as safeguarding procedures.

Salary: circa £28,000 per annum
