New Pathways is a leading charitable organisation providing specialist therapeutic support to adults and children affected by sexual violence. With 30 years of experience, we offer a range of free crisis, advocacy, wellbeing, and counselling services.

Job Description:

This role requires a highly skilled and empathetic individual to provide critical support to vulnerable groups. As a Child Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients and their families, addressing their needs and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Face-to-Face Support: Provide one-to-one support to clients, listening to their concerns and addressing their needs.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments using the SAS tool to identify potential risks and develop individual service plans.
  • Criminal Justice System: Support clients through the criminal justice system, ensuring they understand their rights and the procedures involved.
  • Safeguarding: Work closely with other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and groups.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience of working with vulnerable groups, excellent communication and IT skills, and knowledge of SARC services or related areas.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and groups.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
