About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our therapy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full clinical caseload, providing timely assessments and care planning for patients with a wide range of health conditions.
  • Work closely with the therapy team and wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) members to provide rehabilitation services, including personal care, kitchen assessments, access visits, home visits, and therapy discharges.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to empower patients to manage their conditions effectively and maximize their potential to reach their goals of self-management, access to their environment, and return to previous occupations and involvement in the community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapy services, including service planning, quality improvement initiatives, and education and training programs.
Requirements
  • Degree in occupational therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate education specifically relating to client group (desirable)
