Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Therapeutic Radiographer to lead and coordinate the day-to-day clinical operations of the linac in accordance with the policies of the department and trust.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy and excellent leadership skills to manage a caseload of patients, ensuring accurate and consistent planning and treatment.

Liaising with the multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will support and train members of the team to maintain and develop professional and personal skills and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of patients and ensuring accurate and consistent planning and treatment
  • Liaising with the multidisciplinary team to ensure total coverage in all aspects of patient care
  • Supporting and training members of the team to maintain and develop professional and personal skills and standards
  • Providing expert advice on treatment procedures and treatment-related side effects and their management to patients and their carers
