Clinical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Imaging Physics team. As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive scientific support in the fields of radiological imaging, radiation protection services, and artificial optical radiations.
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of Scientists and Technologists to ensure the safe and effective use of imaging equipment, providing quality assurance testing and analysis, and exercising judgment to solve problems and make decisions on equipment usage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Assurance testing and analysis of diagnostic imaging equipment
- Experience with ionising radiations regulations and radiation risk assessments
- Providing training and development of imaging physics and radiation protection services
- Assisting with training groups of other professional staff
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient and staff risks arising from the use of ionising and non-ionising radiations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
