An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Culinary Manager to lead our Care Facility's kitchen team.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence are maintained throughout the facility.

  • You will oversee the preparation and presentation of delicious and nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Your passion for seasonal food will shine through in your menu development, working closely with our Head Chef to create dishes that are both appealing and healthy.
  • You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
  • Good understanding of nutrition
  • Experience working with fresh seasonal food
  • Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment
  • Confidence engaging with residents to create appetising and nutritious menus
  • Good understanding of HACCP
