About the Role:

This position involves effective planning and delivery of teaching/learning within designated curriculum areas. You will also be responsible for demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, ensuring that equipment/materials required for teaching/learning are safe and appropriate, and upholding the ethos of The Hill College and Academy Trust. Additionally, you will manage and supervise team members, including volunteers, students, and visitors, promoting positive relationships and dignity for all learners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Certificate of Education (CertEd) or equivalent teaching qualification. You should also possess level 2 Maths and English qualifications or be willing to enroll on our internal functional skills course. Recent experience in teaching adults with special needs and the ability to demonstrate effective program planning and management are essential. You should be able to communicate a strong commitment to student success and be willing to work with individuals who may exhibit challenging behavior.

Estimated Salary: £42,884 per annum
