About the Role
As a Band 5 Children's Community Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and their families in our vibrant brand new Children's Emergency Departments. With a strong focus on emergency care, you will have the opportunity to work at the top of your game and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients, prioritizing treatment, delivering care, and evaluating patient outcomes. You will also be required to demonstrate procedures and supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff. As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be overall in-charge of the department on a shift basis.

Person Specification
We are looking for an experienced nurse with excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a health-related subject and relevant post-registration experience within an Emergency Department. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize and organize their workload, and have experience of delivering presentations. Additionally, they will hold a Registered Children's Nurse qualification, Intravenous accreditation, and Prep for Mentorship course or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time role with a competitive salary of £32,500 - £41,600 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a generous annual leave allowance, and a pension scheme.

Location
The successful candidate will be based at one of our state-of-the-art Children's Emergency Departments in East Kent.
