Product Manager - Sensors - £30,000 - £60,000 DOE (100% on site position)

This is a fantastic opportunity to champion a full range of sensor products and portfolio for an organisation whose mission is to protect lives and preserve the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain product roadmaps, consistent with the product market strategy and covering full product lifecycles.
  2. Provide sales and marketing information to allow product collateral to be created.
  3. Liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure products meet current and future needs.
  4. Aid the sales team on route-to-market, assessing suitability for sensor products and proposing adjustments where needed.
  5. Work alongside the Project Management, R&D, and Operations teams to ensure that all new products are delivered on budget and on time.
  6. Ensure the supply chain delivers product in a fast and effective way by working with the Commercial Services Manager.
  7. Help to establish a market-leading position vs. competition.
  8. Help develop and implement 'Go-To-Market' strategies including possible test marketing and launch activities.
  9. Work with sales and marketing to identify early adopters and run alpha/beta trials with existing or prospective customers.
  10. Provide sales and marketing support and training to internal and external stakeholders wherever required.
Required Skills:
  1. Experience as a product manager, with an existing exposure to or willingness to understand specialist sensor products.
  2. Be familiar with market drivers, for example, legislation and technological advancements.
  3. Customer-oriented focus, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  4. Strategic, methodical, logical, and detail-oriented, whilst still delivering against deadlines.
  5. An excellent communicator, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  6. Keen, eager, and able to deliver a comprehensive product portfolio.
  7. Possess a multidiscipline approach with the ability to perform different roles.
