Hardware Development Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world class semiconductor systems organisation. We are seeking an experienced Hardware Development Engineer to lead our Instrumentation Assembly & Test team.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge semiconductor process equipment, with a focus on instrumentation assembly, testing and validation. You will work closely with our engineering departments to ensure smooth transitions from ideas to product.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in engineering or research, preferably with experience in hardware development and data analysis. Your excellent problem-solving skills and creativity will enable you to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovation within the company.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new products and technologies, as well as explore changes to company technology from the simplest to the most exploratory. You will work closely with other teams to understand and document how specific sections of the instrument work, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering or similar, and 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or research role. A competitive salary of £33K - £35K per annum, plus excellent benefits package including healthcare, contributory pension scheme and full and comprehensive manufacturers based product training, awaits the right candidate.
