Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Location: North Birmingham/Stafford/Manchester/Sheffield - Field Based

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum - basic/OTE £55,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in the Industrial Welding sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting welding equipment to UK distributors and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development for Welding equipment in a defined territory
  2. Promote welding propositions to UK Welding Distributors
  3. Promote welding to the UK's end users
  4. Direct contact with Distributors and end-user customers
  5. Liaising with all members of the team, including International colleagues
  6. Working closely with the UK Field based Sales Team to enhance business opportunities
  7. Working closely with the Divisional Manager to implement agreed strategy
  8. Visiting and enhancing relationships with defined customers
  9. Perform demonstrations of Industrial Machines to achieve sales
  10. Promote and present the products to Distributors and End User customers and prospects
  11. Presentation/Business relationship building/sales of machinery, accessories and consumables
  12. Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of Industrial welding equipment
  13. Providing technical advice to new and existing customers
  14. Troubleshooting to support customers - nationally via telephone/email or onsite visits
  15. Providing training for customers at client sites
  16. Business development and customer retention
