Job Title: Internal Technical Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at ROSE & YOUNG RECRUITMENT LTD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting welding equipment and propositions to UK distributors and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute business development strategies for welding equipment in a defined territory.
  2. Promote welding propositions to UK distributors and end-users through effective communication and relationship-building.
  3. Collaborate with the UK field-based sales team to enhance business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  4. Liaise with international colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  5. Provide technical advice and support to customers, including troubleshooting and training.
  6. Develop and maintain expert knowledge of industrial welding equipment to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  7. Attend customer trade shows and open days to promote products and build relationships.
  8. Provide close feedback to research and development teams on site to inform product development.
  9. Conduct fact-finding and gather competitor information to stay ahead of the competition.
  10. Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in industrial technical field sales, preferably within the tooling industry.
  2. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  3. Confident, professional, and assertive, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  4. Ability to travel extensively within the UK, with occasional international travel.
