Job Description

GE Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Tendering Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, costing, and securing new projects with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify upcoming projects and engage with subject matter experts and key internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Update the sales team on progress, input into workload management and scheduling, and ensure the CRM system is utilized and updated in a timely manner.
  • Develop knowledge of key business drivers, customer needs, sales territory, product lines, markets, and sales and tendering processes.
  • Generate cost analysis templates and produce customer proposals independently.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of building customer relationships and trust, an understanding of the UK electricity network and customers, and experience in sales and tendering.
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar is desirable but not necessary.
  • A working knowledge of typical UK forms of contract, NEC, FIDIC, etc.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, manage and prioritize workload, and travel occasionally within the UK.
