Job Description Summary

GE Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Tendering Engineer to join our Power Transmission Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new projects with Distribution and Transmission Network Operators, and both Renewable and Conventional Power Generation Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify upcoming projects and engage with subject matter experts and key internal stakeholders.
  • Update the Service team on progress and input into workload management and scheduling.
  • Ensure the CRM system is utilized and updated in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of building customer relationships and trust.
  • Understanding of the UK electricity network and customers.
  • Experience in sales and tendering.
Desired Characteristics:
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar.
  • A working knowledge of typical UK forms of contract, NEC, FIDIC, etc.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage and prioritize their own workload.
