Job Description Summary

GE Vernova is seeking a seasoned Sales and Tendering Engineer to join our after-sales service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, costing, and securing new projects with key customers in the power transmission industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Update the Service team on progress and input into workload management and scheduling
  • Ensure the CRM system is utilized and updated in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of building customer relationships and trust
  • Understanding of the UK electricity network and customers
  • Experience in sales and tendering
Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar
  • Working knowledge of typical UK forms of contract, NEC, FIDIC, etc.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage and prioritize own workload
  • Logical and systematic problem-solving skills
