About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals for children in our nursery and preschool settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for children, ensuring a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Lead cookery club sessions with children, promoting healthy eating and nutrition
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure a positive and safe environment for children
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of children
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a chef in a commercial or domestic setting
  • Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent)
  • Sound knowledge of COSHH and food allergens
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
