Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team, developing menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Create and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal changes and customer preferences.
- Culinary Leadership: Lead and motivate the culinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
- Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure the highest standards of performance.
Requirements:
- Culinary Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior chef in a high-end restaurant or steakhouse.
- Culinary Education: Formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the kitchen team, management, and customers.
- Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
