Nursery Room Leader Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Room Leader to join our client's brand-new setting. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead, guide, and mentor a team of dedicated nursery staff, providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and coaching to excel in their roles and continuously improve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement diverse and stimulating activities that foster children's learning and skill development, nurturing their individual interests and abilities to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
- Cultivate and maintain nurturing connections with children, families, and fellow colleagues to create a harmonious and supportive environment for all, fostering positive relationships and a sense of community.
- Uphold and prioritize the safety, security, and overall well-being of all children under your care, following rigorous procedures and standards to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive records, conducting regular assessments to monitor and evaluate the progress and development of the children, ensuring individualized attention and progress tracking for each child.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above, demonstrating a high level of expertise in working with young children, with a continuous commitment to professional development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Proven and substantial experience working within a nursery setting, showcasing your proficiency and dedication in providing high-quality care and education in this environment.
- 1 year's experience within a leadership and managerial role, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver excellence in their roles while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- In-depth knowledge and comprehension of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring the application of best practices in early childhood education to promote holistic child development.
- A clear and thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, with an unwavering commitment to the well-being of every child and the ability to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Outstanding communication skills and a talent for building strong and positive relationships with children and their families, promoting a transparent and supportive partnership with parents and caregivers.
