Credit Control Team Lead

Your new company, a well-established and respected organisation, is seeking an experienced Credit Control specialist to take on the role of Credit Control Assistant Manager. This position has arisen due to succession planning, and the ideal candidate will have the potential to step up to Credit Manager in the long term.
Key Responsibilities- Deputy management of the Credit Control team, recommending and implementing strategies to maximise sales ledger recoveries within acceptable timescales and targets.
- Setting KPIs and ambitious targets, reviewing with the team to ensure success.
- Handling all aspects of credit control, including statements, collection letters, and final payment reminders.
- Full ownership of the invoicing process, collaborating with account managers to capture all necessary information.
- Working alongside internal teams to ensure clear and efficient communication, maintaining smooth processes.
- Managing the allocation of payment receipts from clients.
- Experience in credit control/collections within a dynamic setting.
- Exceptional communication abilities for liaising with internal teams and clients.
