Credit Control Team Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to take the next step in their career and join a well-established organisation in Teesside as a Senior Credit Control Specialist.
The role has arisen due to succession planning, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and take on new challenges in a dynamic and respected organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputy management of the Credit Control team, recommending and implementing strategies to maximise sales ledger recoveries within acceptable timescales and targets.
- Handling all aspects of credit control, including statements, collection letters, and final payment reminders.
- Collaborating with account managers to capture all necessary information for the invoicing process.
- Full ownership of the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit control/collections within a dynamic setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
