Engineer for Asset Optimization

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to join our team at AWE Plc.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience in delivering proactive maintenance and reliability solutions, with a strong focus on asset optimization and quality improvement.
This role will involve:
- Delivering maintenance and reliability solutions that maximize productivity and efficiency
- Leading/participating in failure mode effects analysis and root cause analysis
- Effective stakeholder management and communication
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and business improvement
We offer a competitive salary up to £52,000, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
- A market-leading contributory pension scheme
- 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday off work
- 208 hours of holiday each year, plus Bank Holidays

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A recognized engineering-related qualification (NVQ level 3/HNC ideal) and a strong maintenance engineering background
- The ability to solve technical problems and make decisions to rectify
- Ability to communicate and present reports on technical requirements and engineering modifications
