Senior Electrical Engineer Role

Join AWE Plc as a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in delivering exceptional engineering services. This position involves leading teams and ensuring the upkeep of all assets and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive technical expertise to implement design intent, adhere to as-built standards, and ensure optimal system performance throughout the asset's life cycle.
  • Deliver results-oriented solutions for complex tasks, including troubleshooting, quoting, reporting, design, commissioning, and handover, based on sound engineering principles.
  • Guide and mentor engineers in addressing intricate engineering challenges, fostering innovative solutions.
  • Risk identification, escalation, and management related to engineered systems and structures.
  • Maintain strict adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements pertinent to working within a highly governed environment, encompassing Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
  • Collaborate with company stakeholders to support organizational goals and performance monitoring.
  • In cases where relevant, take on additional roles like Appointed Person or Asset Change Manager (with corporate training available).

Eligibility:

Compensation: Salary: approximately £80,000 - £110,000 per year, contingent upon qualifications and experience.
