About the Role

Achieving for Children is a community interest company that provides innovative solutions to support children and families. As a Family Hub Casual Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to families with multiple needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload effectively and engage with referred families to provide support and guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Family Hub team to deliver a range of sessions, activities, and events that promote opportunities for children and their families to engage proactively.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children by complying with all policies, procedures, and standards, and maintaining high health and safety and hygiene standards.
  • Provide administrative support for the Family Hub sites, including outreach sites, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and other stakeholders to develop trust and provide information and support as needed.

Requirements

  • Education to a level NVQ L3, QCF 3, or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience of direct working within a childcare setting, education, social services, or voluntary sector setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of children, families, and professionals.
  • Able to keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience of general administrative and front-of-house duties in a busy, customer-focused environment.
