About the Role

The Hub Assessor will provide support and guidance to newly qualified social workers on the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme. This will involve developing and coordinating the support for NQSWs entering the organisation and completing their ASYE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the ASYE programme, ensuring its successful delivery and the provision of outreach support to NQSWs
  • Work in partnership with the ASYE hub assessor in RBWM to create a network of support for NQSWs
  • Assess NQSWs in line with the Post Qualifying Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) and Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF)
  • Work closely with social workers, line managers, and other professionals to ensure effective support and guidance for NQSWs

About You

The successful candidate will have a degree in social work, a postgraduate qualification in practice education, and active registration with Social Work England. They will also have experience of managing the assessment of learners in practice and leading a team in social or health care, preferably in children and families services.
