Sales Development Representative

Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team on behalf of a valued client in the global shipping industry. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with shippers, both domestic and international.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Cycle Management: Identify sales opportunities, screen customer needs, and demonstrate software and company capabilities to potential customers.
- Freight Product Expertise: Understand customer requirements and offer advice on suitable freight products, with a view to cross-sell and up-sell, if appropriate.
- Sales Target Achievement: Exceed agreed sales targets by successfully managing a sales pipeline and closing deals.
- Customer Data Management: Manage customer data in an efficient and compliant manner within our client's CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Sales Executives and support Franchise management to achieve sales goals.
- Technical Skills: Be system-savvy and computer-literate, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and LinkedIn, as well as Pipedrive (CRM), Zint (Sales Lead software), and our client's proprietary shipping software platform.
- Travel Requirements: Have a UK driving license and own vehicle, with occasional travel to sell or attend trade shows.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary, dependent on levels of experience, salary expectations, and interview performance.
- Annual Leave: 31 days of annual leave per year, including Bank Holidays.
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour per week contract.
- Company Bonus: An annual company-wide bonus, paying up to £2,000, subject to company performance and pro-rata considerations.
- Pension Scheme: A company workplace pension scheme with 5%/3% Employee/Employer contributions.
- Private Medical Insurance: Private medical insurance, available after 6 months of service.
- Commutable Location: A highly commutable location with free onsite parking.
