Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our Breakfast Food & Beverage team at Langstone Quays Resort. As a Food and Beverage Assistant - Breakfast, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests during breakfast service and providing exceptional levels of service to ensure a memorable experience.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional levels of service to all guests, responding to requests and complaints in a timely manner and ensuring guest satisfaction

  • Prepare the outlets ready for service and ensure the operation is left ready for the next shift

  • Take beverage orders from customers, prepare and serve drinks as requested, paying attention to detail

  • Assist with the receiving and storage of goods

  • Maintain a good food safety, hygiene standards and practices

  • Assist with cellar operations

  • Assist with the preparation of a food and beverage functions service

  • Clean equipment

  • Clean and maintain glassware and china for service

  • Prepare waiter service stations

  • Prepare tables

  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times

  • Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, including any department-specific procedures such as cash handling and credit procedures

  • Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures

  • Hours range from 5.30am to 12pm or 3pm 3-5 days per week
