About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to join our team at Axis Communications. This role will be pivotal to our growth and long-term strategy within the UK & Ireland, with a focus on new business.

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the development of sales through strategic partners across the UK & Ireland. This role complements our End Customer program, with a focus on demand creation, identifying new end customer accounts, and investigating the mutual business fit and potential for long-term revenue to Axis.

The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of market understanding, commercial acumen, industry competence, and technical skills. They will be able to understand and influence the customer journey, aligned to our long-term strategic priorities. Education is a cornerstone of our business, and the successful candidate will be required to create awareness and education of our solutions for individuals and business units both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Building a pipeline of new potential customer accounts across different segments.
  2. Identifying, nurturing, and developing accounts up to a transactional relationship when handed over to the KAM End Customer organisation.
  3. Working closely with our global sales organization and across other Axis sales regions to develop best practices and strategic alignment.
  4. Identifying, nurturing, and developing new relationships with individuals and teams across both existing and new technical and commercial partners.
  5. Assisting in the planning and delivery of our event strategy for digital transformation.
  6. Providing awareness and education through webinars, events, and promoting the values of the Axis brand.

We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, able to create structure, and has excellent communication skills. Experience in a similar sales role and a hunter profile is essential. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is also required.
