Job Title: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a prestigious school in Tower Hamlets, East London. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with emotional and social barriers to learning, promoting their inclusion and acceptance, and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils to make good academic progress under the direction of the teacher and Inclusion leader
  • Implement group or 1:1 interventions to support pupils with emotional or social barriers to learning
  • Establish constructive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher
Requirements:
  • An honours degree in Psychology (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
