Job Opportunity: Graduate Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate with a background in psychology to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and learning theories, and be able to apply this knowledge to support the educational needs of students with special educational needs.

The role will involve working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans, and providing one-to-one support to students in the classroom.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong commitment to supporting the learning and development of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to support the educational needs of students
  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of lessons

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in psychology or related field
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
