Teaching Assistant for SEN Pupils

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding school in Tower Hamlets. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Support students with SEN in a 1:1 setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Help students with their academic and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure student progress

Requirements:

  • Confident, self-motivated, and professional with a passion for education
  • Patience, caring, and engaging
  • Enhanced DBS checks - Child only
  • Live a reasonable distance from the Tower Hamlets area or surrounding areas
  • Positive and encouraging role model for students
  • Enthusiastic while driven and highly supportive to the students and the school staff
  • Behaviour management skills
  • Punctual, resilient, and willing to go the extra mile
