Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding school in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential.

About the Role:
  • Work 1:1 with a pupil who has learning difficulties
  • Support students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being

Requirements:
  • Confidence, self-motivation, and professionalism, with a passion for education
  • Patience, caring, and engaging nature, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Enhanced DBS checks - Child only
  • Ability to live a reasonable distance from the Tower Hamlets area or surrounding areas (not a necessity)
  • Positive and encouraging role model for students
  • Enthusiasm, driven, and highly supportive to students and school staff
  • Behavior management skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Punctuality, resilience, and willingness to go the extra mile
