Job Summary

This role focuses on managing the Accounts Payable and Receivable function end to end, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Accurately prepare and set invoices for weekly payment runs, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Payment Management: Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the ledger is up to date with no overdue payments.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Code invoices to the correct accounting system line and cost centre, and run weekly ledger analysis and reporting.
  • AR Management: Manage the Accounts Receivable function, including matching purchase orders to invoices and GRNs as appropriate.
  • Supplier Communication: Resolve supplier invoice queries when required, and work with the leadership team to ensure all invoices are approved before payment.
  • Reconciliation: Complete monthly statement reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Requirements
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Knowledge: Experienced with solid accounts payable and receivable knowledge, including previous experience of working with a computerised ledger system, especially Xero.
  • Organisation and Communication: Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines, and confident and clear communicator with all other teams and external suppliers.
  • Teamwork: Proven experience working in a dynamic constantly changing environment, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
