Collection and Network Driver Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and independent Collections and Network Driver to join our team at the Wakefield Delivery Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient collection and delivery of mail and parcels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Collect mail and parcels from post offices and business customers
- Sort and process mail and parcels at our processing centres
- Work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
- Have a strong sense of community and take pride in your work
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54, overtime at 1.25x the normal rate, and 22.5 days holiday (pro-rata) rising with length of service. You will also have access to a contributory pension scheme, opportunities for career development, and a range of benefits including uniform, parental leave, and discounts on high street vouchers, travel, and attractions.
About You
We are looking for someone who is upbeat, independent, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of community and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service. You will need to have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and be happy to work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
