Job Title: Collections and Network Driver

Location: Wakefield Delivery Office

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Collections and Network Driver to join our team at the Wakefield Delivery Office. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to our customers in the Wakefield area.

About the Role:

As a Collections and Network Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering mail and parcels to our customers in the Wakefield area
  • Collecting mail and parcels from post offices and businesses
  • Sorting and processing mail and parcels at our processing centres
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their mail and parcels on time

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54, plus overtime at 1.25x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), and a contributory pension scheme. We also offer lots of opportunity to develop a career and full uniform provided if you're on a contract of longer than three months.
