About the Role

We are seeking a Care Coordinator for Newborns to join our Neonatal Unit at Transformation Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing coordinated care to newborns and their families, including high-level respiratory support and surgery.

The successful applicant will be responsible for working unsupervised in intensive care, High dependency and special care environments, following Trust Guidelines, Policies and Procedures. We offer a supportive environment where you can gain valuable nursing experience and complete Neonatal Life Support training if needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Neonatal Practitioner to take on a leadership role, working 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends to cover our service. You will have the chance to exercise judgement in assessing wide-ranging patient problems and promote options for optimum patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement coordinated care plans for newborns and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse (valid with NMC)
  • Advanced Diploma Nursing Studies or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified in Neonatal Specialty
  • Evidence of management and leadership qualities
  • Significant experience in neonatal Intensive care at staff nurse level post neonatal qualification

Salary Information: £38,692 - £45,646 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary range that reflects the importance of this role in providing high-quality care to newborns and their families.
