Building Fabric Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our team in Cambridgeshire and surrounding regions. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires you to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out a range of building fabric maintenance tasks, including patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to client specifications.
- Follow health and safety regulations and statutory requirements at all times.
- Perform regular inspections and monitoring of equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
- Respond to client queries, report defects, and keep clients informed during service visits.
- Maintain accurate records of work and service visits, using handheld technology.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2/3 City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in relevant trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing).
- Previous experience in a facilities maintenance, retail, or construction environment.
- A full driving licence, essential for this mobile role.
- IT literacy for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Physical fitness to carry out the duties of the role.
The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
