**Join Our Team as Assembly Operations Technicians**

We are currently hiring for Assembly Operations Technicians at Morson Talent. The successful candidate will work within the production teams at Marshall Land Systems in Cambridge, producing vehicles and containers for high-profile military projects.

As an Assembly Operations Technician, you can expect to earn £26.04 per hour UMBRELLA or £19.12 per hour PAYE (£22.01 per hour total PAYE). Working hours are 7.15am-3.45pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.15am-12.15pm on Fridays.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and building specialist projects using engineering drawings and associated design data
  • You will work closely with Production Managers and Team Leaders to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard
  • Candidates from relevant backgrounds including Coach builders, Kitchen fitters, Sheet metal workers / fabricators, Joiners, Shop fitters, and Specialist vehicle builders who have worked on commercial vehicle installations are welcome to apply

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within mechanical fitting or joining is essential; experience within automotive or heavy industry is highly beneficial
  • Able to effectively communicate with colleagues and provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and problem-solving skills are also desired
