Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic Main Theatres and Day Surgery department at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our theatre team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical services.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care under supervision, including implementing basic and complex healthcare practices.
- Effectively communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues, ensuring clear explanations of nursing interventions and responding sensitively to others' needs.
- Utilize resources effectively, delegate tasks to junior staff, support peers through preceptorship, and participate in policy development and quality audits.
- Maintain high standards of clinical care, keep patients informed, identify risks, and update clinical skills for ongoing professional development.
- Identify personal development needs, participate in training, and adhere to health and safety policies.
