Anaesthetic Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic team at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our operating theatres.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures. You will have the opportunity to work across various specialties, including urology, general surgery, and bariatric surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including implementing basic and complex healthcare practices.
- Effectively communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues, ensuring clear explanations of nursing interventions and responding sensitively to others' needs.
- Utilise resources effectively, delegate tasks to junior staff, and support peers through preceptorship.
- Maintain high standards of clinical care, keep patients informed, identify risks, and update clinical skills for ongoing professional development.
- Identify personal development needs, participate in training, and adhere to health and safety policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- First-level registration as a Registered Nurse (NMC) or an Operating Department Practitioner on the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Up-to-date clinical knowledge and experience in an acute setting.
- Reflective practice and possession of a current Professional Portfolio.
